You are cordially invited: Central Corridor Gamers (CCG) is an event held by gamers, for gamers. We consist of people ages 4-40-ish. CCG is a safe, positive, free, and most importantly, fun event where kids and adults alike can meet and play games, trade cards and minis, etc. We are excited about the lifetime friendships and camaraderie that people experience at CCG and we hope that everyone will take positive attitudes with them through all aspects of their lives. Please feel free to experience CCG with your children or just stop by to see what we are all about.
Due to a recent uprising in violence in our community and the downturn in the nation’s economy, it is so important to recognize safe opportunities for us to have fun in the Corridor. Not only do we have fun at our events, but many of us learn life important life lessons and benefit in positive ways. We help each other out in life as we go to school and graduate, apply for jobs and scholarships, develop relationships, get married, and even have children. We are there for each other as peers, classmates, colleagues, organizers, mothers, and fathers. As a result, many of us are best of friends.
Our events currently include organized sanctioned play for collectible card games such as Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, and Yu-Gi-Oh. Due to the amount of space we have available to us, as well as large numbers of tables and chairs, our events are open to anyone who wishes to participate in everything from Scrabble to Monopoly to Bridge. Many of our regulars are middle to high school aged but many parents join their children as well. We welcome anyone from age 2-102 and beyond. We meet every Wednesday and Sunday evening from 6-10 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church* located at 400 3rd Ave. S.W. To find out more about our events feel free to visit our website: www.ccgamers.org Feel free to PM if you have questions. We hope to see you soon!
